Introduction

In January 1978, Frito-Lay's product development group led by Jack Liczkowski had completed development of Tostitos. The chips were round, made of white corn and had a more authentic "Mexican" flavor. Tostitos is a brand of tortilla chips and (more recently) dips produced by Frito-Lays. The Tostitos has a several varieties of chips and Tostitos flavors.

Tostitos is very active on social media networks and they are present on all of the most popular social media networks including:

The objective of this post is to study the social media strategies of Tostitos used for the marketing of the product and explore their social media presence by examining their social media channels to see where Tostitos gets the most attraction from the customers.
Tostitos is very active on its various social media channels.  Tostitos is most active on its Twitter, Facebook and YouTube posting once in a week sometimes twice in a week on twitter and Facebook. Tostitos is less active on the Instagram where they only post after two or three weeks.
Tostitos is most effective on social media on their Twitter and Facebook accounts because they are able to reach a large target audience as well as encourage communication between the products of Tostitos and consumer through their various daily posts.

Tostitos encourages customer feedback through social media. Tostitos Facebook page ha731, 956 likes and there is about one post in each week.   The Tostitos continue to come up in their posts on Twitter.  The Pringles twitter page has17K followers.  There are 2,537 tweets and 488 likes for this page and so many videos and photos are shared with the people. Recently the Facebook post of the pringles about the new Introducing deliciously spicy TOSTITOS Chunky Habanero Salsa, with the right amount of heat to really send your taste buds into a glorious free fall which attract the so many consumers towards the Tostitos. On YouTube Tostitos 2,542 subscribers and 10,224,123 views.  On Instagram Tostitos posts once every couple of weeks for a total of 141 posts and 3,641 followers.

Tostitos seems to be most effective on Facebook and YouTube because they have the most followers on those social media channels.  The posts get many likes, shares and comments demonstrating that customers are engaging in the content that is posted by Tostitos to attract the customers and especially the teenagers who use the Facebook and YouTube. Moreover, they also provide the various recipe of the Tostitos food and the sauce.

Conclusion

Tostitos is available on all major social media channels providing an opportunity to interact with their audience and create their chips awareness among the people whereas it has a less awareness as compared to the pringles but although people like to eat Tostitos, There are many competitors of the Tostitos like the Lays, Doritos and Pringles. The taste of the Tostitos chips with a dip is excellent and everyone want to try the chip with a dip and the Tostitos has also various kinds of sauces which we use to make a food at home. At the end, I can say that it is the good brand of the chips and everyone likes to eat that chips.
