Summary:
Both Lays and Sun ships are owned by Frito-Lay, they have very a similar set and design when it comes to their websites and even share one common website which is the Frito-Lay website. Neither one is very well integrated with their social media pages, they just have links leading to them. Lay’s is the first organic result whenever you google the word chip. Sun chips requires a more specific search to find them, which is surprising since they product is a little more specialized compared to the more generic lays brand.
Conclusion:
Both companies are owned by frito-lay, however lays is far easier to find when searching compared to Sunchips which even in a specific search for multigrain or healthier chips isn’t the top result. Lays on the other hand is very easy to find requires very little effort, basically anything related to chips and lays will be either the top results or one of the tops results.
